GitHub Pulse can help you keep that streak alive

If your New Year's resolution was to make an open source commit every day, Tadeu Zagallo built an app just for you.

Github Pulse is a status bar app for OS X to help you keep your streaks, making a commit every day.

The app's status bar icon turns red if you haven't committed something to GitHub today. By the end of the afternoon, it'll even nag you once as a reminder.

The app is written in Swift, but it also uses React to render a WebView. You might have a peak at the source code if either (or both) of those technologies interest you.
