Observability is for your unknown unknowns
Christine Yen (co-founder and CEO of Honeycomb) joined the show to talk about her upcoming talk at Strange Loop titled “Observability: Superpowers for Developers.” We talk practically about observability and how it delivers on these superpowers. We also cover the biggest hurdles to observability, the cultural shifts needed in teams to implement observability, and even the gains the entire organization can enjoy when you deliver high-quality code and you’re able to respond to system failure with resilience.

Hey guys, I love listening to your podcast. This episode I had a really hard time hearing your guest ended up skipping through most of it.

Thanks for the honest feedback!
We do our best to make sure everyone sounds great (especially the guest), but sometimes the audio quality turns out better or worse. I agree with you that Christine’s audio wasn’t amazing, unfortunately.
That being said, she had a lot of interesting things to say, so if you can suffer through it (I listened back over the weekend and while not perfect it is definitely listenable), I don’t think you’ll regret it. 💚
