What's the best display for programming? ↦
Choosing a display is tough. Here’s the tldr, but I suggest you dig into the details if that’s how you roll…
tl;dr 43-inch 4K computer monitors should be the new hotness for people who like big monitors. And they should work well with almost any computer made in the last couple of years, as long as you use the proper cables.

Personally, I’m an iMac Pro user and love the integrated machine + display all-in-one idea for my desktop. But, I get the lure to BIG displays. The issue for me has always been Apple and support for third-party displays.

Prefer multiple normal-sized monitors (my current setup is laptop screen + 3 external monitors), since I prefer for all of my windows to either be maximized or split (horizontally or vertically) across the screen.. I don’t do floating random sized windows since it’s hard to control those without touching the mouse or track pad..
