JAMstack, Netlify CMS, and 10x-ing Smashing Magazine
Matt Biilman and Chris Bach joined the show to talk about JAMstack, Netlify CMS, how open source drives standards, and 10x-ing the speed of Smashing Magazine.
Matt Biilmann (@biilmann) is the founder of Netlify and regarded as one of the driving forces behind the resurgence of static websites. He founded the first static site hosting service BitBalloon, and got the founders of Github, Heroku, Rackspace and others to back him in creating Netlify, which today is the fastest growing automation platform for modern websites. As a developer, Matt has lead the development of three commercial CMSs (swears he won’t do a fourth), writes programming languages than he cares to count, is trilingual, and enjoys listening to beer and drinking modern jazz.
